Instructions
Dear Students:
Objective: fact vs. opinion, drawing conclusions, critical reading techniques
Plagiarism is a serious offense.
Often time, plagiarism occurs accidentally…but, I am still obligated to report the offense.
“When a student engages in academic dishonesty, faculty have the option of requiring the student to see a college counselor, assigning a lower or failing (F) final grade in the course (or denying promotion from a non-credit course)… Violations of this policy will be reported to the Vice President of Instruction and will become part of the Glendale College Cheating Incident file, unless the instructor finds compelling reasons not to report a violation”
Therefore, plagiarism should be avoided at all costs.
- All assignments in this course are run through plagiarism software, such as VeriCite.
- Please do not turn in work that is not your own. If your work shows plagiarism, I invoke the right to lower or assign a failing (F) final grade.
