 Welcome to the OneSearch for Books & Articles Online Workshop

In this workshop, you will use:

  • OneSearch, a single search box that searches across the materials in the library and the online content of most of our library databases
  • design and perform searches strategies to locate textbooks, books, ebooks, and articles from journals, magazines, newspapers, and more
  • assess sources for relevance considering subject terms and/or abstracts


**** This is an extra credit opportunity. It is adapted from one of the GCC Library's Online workshops. When you finish it up, you'll earn 20 points. Due Date: June 8, 2022. 

Helpful Tips:

  • This workshop should take you one hour to complete.
  • You may do it at your own pace and start and stop when you would like. When you get to the discussion, post your initial post. Check back later to see if anyone else completed the first post so you can respond. I will take the lack of class participation into the final assessment.
