Tutorial Instructions

In this tutorial, you will learn to use OneSearch through a guided activity.  Note that OneSearch is a dynamic tool and there are many different ways of searching it effectively. 

In this tutorial, we will show you a few search tips and tricks to get you started. It is recommended that you have OneSearch Links to an external site. open in a different tab so that you can complete the instructions in this tutorial. 

For the purposes of this tutorial, we are going to practice by finding books and articles from the GCC Library on the following sample research topic:

How do science fiction books, TV shows, and films reflect problems in life as we live it today? Choose one book, film, or television show and examine the solutions or complications it suggests for real challenges we currently face in culture and society.
